LIVE: A19 near Thirsk reopens after dog hit by car - updates

Good morning, this is Patrick Gouldsbrough from The Northern Echo. The A19 near Thirsk in North Yorkshire is partially blocked after reports of a car colliding with a dog on the stretch of the A-road. There is currently 20 minutes worth of congestion on the road while emergency services deal with the incident. We will be bringing you updates as we get them from the emergency services, as well as an update on how the traffic is coping.
